Getting Started
The basic steps to getting started are as follows:
1.
Install the jumpers.
Jumper functions are described above in section 7, Circuit Description. See
section 7.16, Quick Jumper Reference, for quick reference.
2.
Install the software.
Software may be installed either through on-board ROM or through additional
hardware via the stack interface. See Figure 13 for reference on inserting the
ROM into an on-board memory bank. Jumper settings may be set as indicated in
section 7.14 to specify the device type.

Set Up the Start Vector Selector.
The SVS’s Start Vector Address Selector jumper, A1JP180, must be specified to
point to the intended start-up memory address for the processor to locate the
software. Refer to section 7.8, The Start Vector Selector (SVS), for more detail
on the SVS.
4.
Apply power.
Provide DC power via either the center-positive barrel connector, A1J120, or the
power terminal block, A1TB120. Refer to section 7.1, Power Input, for detail.
The power connectors are shown in that section above in Figure 10.
