48-Key Keypad
The 48-key keypad contains a
Power
button, application keys, scroll keys and function keys. The keypad is
color-coded to indicate the alternate function key (blue) values. Note, that keypad functions can be changed by an
application so the mobile computer keypad may not function as described. See

Key
Description
Power (red)
Powers the mobile computer screen on and off (resume and suspend).
Green Circle
Unassigned application function key by default.
Red Circle
Unassigned application function key.
Scan (yellow)
Scan key, used for scanning applications.
Orange
Press the orange key to access the alternate navigation and selection functions. The
icon appears on the taskbar on WinCE devices and the
icon appears at the bottom of
the screen on Windows Mobile 6.1 devices. Press and release the orange key again to
return to the default keypad functions.
