In the “Server address” box, enter the name of the Microsoft Exchange server to
which you want to connect.
Select the “This server requires an encrypted (SSL) connection” option if it is
applicable to your corporate network.

Enter your user name, password, and domain name.
If you intend to enable automatic synchronization, select the “Save password”
option.

Define the rules for resolving conflicts if items change on both your device and on
the server.

Select the check box opposite the types of information that you want to synchronize
with the server.

Define the synchronization settings for each information type by tapping the type of
information, then tap

To set up automatic synchronization with a server:

> ActiveSync

Menu > Schedule
.

Perform one or both of the following:
•
Under Peak times, select the “When new items arrive” option.
It is more cost-efficient to synchronize on a regular schedule when mail
volume is high, instead of when new items arrive.
•
Under Off-peak times, select the “When new items arrive” option.
This can be more cost-efficient than synchronizing on a regular schedule when
mail volume is low.

To set the days and hours that makes up your peak and off-peak times, click
Change Times
.

NOTE:
Some devices or versions of Microsoft Exchange Server may also require
you to specify a device address to use this feature.
