Preparing to use your MC35

Plug the AC adapter cable into the mini USB connector on bottom of the device.

Connect the AC adapter cable into an electrical outlet.
The LED indicator on the right side of the touch screen lights up orange to signify
that AC connection is made.
If the battery level becomes low in the course of normal use, a
status
icon appears
on the device screen indicating low or depleted battery status (see "Status icons" on
page 18 for more information). In both cases, perform an ActiveSync operation to
back up your data, and then recharge your device as soon as possible.
If the battery level reaches low status, the device enters
sleep mode
; if the battery
level reaches very low status, the device enters
deep sleep mode
. In this case, you
have about 72
hours to recharge your device after which you risk losing all data on
your device’s internal memory.
Installing Microsoft ActiveSync
ActiveSync is already installed on your MC35; you only need to install it on your
computer.
