3.2.4 Power over Ethernet (PoE)
The RFS6000 switch supports 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) on each of its eight
ge
ports. The PoE screen
allows users to monitor the power consumption of the ports and configure power usage limits and priorities
for each of the
ge
ports.
To view the PoE configuration:
1. Select
Switch
>
Ports
from the main menu tree.
NOTE:
You are not allowed to select (display) more than four parameters at any given
time.
SWITCH NOTE:
Power over Ethernet is supported on the RFS6000 and RFS4000
switches.
