Misc Menu
This setting only applies if the video IN (input) option is set to NTSC or PAL-M. The video
IN option is described at the top of Table 2 on page 13.
Use the Miscellaneous Menu to remove or preserve the NTSC or PAL-M setup (analog). To
change this option, navigate to the Misc menu, press ENTER, and change the Setup Removal
option by selecting either ON (removes the NTSC or PAL-M video setup) or OFF (preserves
the NTSC or PAL-M video setup). The default is OFF.
Test Menu
Use the Test menu to replace the source signal or when a source signal is not available. Table
12 describes each option.

Test Options
Option Description
Video
Select ON to replace the external video signal with encoder’s color bar test
pattern. Select OFF to replace the color bars test pattern with the external video
signal. The default is OFF.
Audio1
Select ON to replace the external audio signal on Audio1 with a 1 kHz test tone
that is generated by the encoder. Select OFF to stop the test tone and replace it
with the external audio signal. The default is OFF.
Audio2
Select ON to replace the external audio signal on Audio2 with a 1 kHz test tone
that is generated by the encoder. Select OFF to stop the test tone and replace it
with the external audio signal. The default is OFF.
