13.2.9 Mesh
RF Domain Statistics
Mesh
networking enables users to wirelessly access broadband applications anywhere (even in a moving vehicle). Initially
developed for secure and reliable military battlefield communications, mesh technology supports public safety, public access
and public works. Mesh technology reduces the expense of wide-scale networks, by leveraging Wi-Fi enabled devices already
deployed.
To view Mesh statistics for RF Domain member access point and their connected clients:
1. Select the
Statistics
menu from the Web UI.
2. Select a RF Domain from under the
System
node on the top, left-hand side, of the screen.
3. Select
Mesh
.

The RF Domain
Mesh
screen displays the following:
Tx Dropped
Displays the total number of transmitted packets which have been dropped by each RF Domain
member access point radio. This includes all user data as well as any management overhead
packets that were dropped.
Rx Errors
Displays the total number of received packets which contained errors for each RF Domain
member access point radio.
Refresh
Select the
Refresh
button to update the statistics counters to their latest values.
Client
Displays the configured hostname for each mesh client connected to a RF Domain
member access point.
Client Radio MAC
Displays the hardware encoded MAC address for each mesh client connected to a RF
Domain member access point.
Portal
Displays a numerical portal Index ID for the each mesh client connected to a RF Domain
member access point.
