Binary Inputs/Outputs
Operational safety!
The PowerView3 and the software are not designed for safety-critical
applications. The binary inputs and outputs of the PowerView3 must not be
used for safety-critical purposes.
If warnings and errors occur in the detonation controller or in a temperature module, two binary
outputs can be switched at the PowerView3. Binary output 1 is used for signalling warnings,
binary output 2 for signalling errors. The binary inputs and outputs are galvanically isolated. The
binary outputs can be activated in the PowerView3 in the
Device Setup
view. For this, refer to the
section
Devices
on page 51. The binary inputs of the PowerView3 are without function.
