PRECISION
Your Grande Ellipse Chrono Monopoussoir features a tourbillon
complication. Invented by Abraham-Louis Breguet in 1801, the
tourbillon is one of the stellar horological complications that
improves precision by compensating for the variations that result
from wearing the watch.
The precision is determined by the balance. The balance
completes 28’800 vibrations per hour and is mounted together
with the balance-spring and the escape-wheel inside a cage which
rotates on its own axis in 60 seconds to permit this compensation.
Despite the care with which our watchmakers have built and
assembled your MOUAWAD Genève watch, its accuracy is subject
to the influence of the Earth’s gravity, impacts and ageing of the
oils.
According to your activities, you may observe slight operating
discrepancies with your watch. In this case, we advise you to
submit the watch, along with its guarantee card to a MOUAWAD
approved dealer, who will make the necessary settings.
