Garlic shrimp kebab
Serves 2 portions.
Pre-heat the grill. In a medium-sized bowl, mix the shrimps or prawns,
olive oil, garlic, chilli pepper, and parsley, then season with salt and
pepper according to taste. Leave the mixture to stand for 20 min.
Slide the shrimps or prawns onto a small bamboo skewer with
3 cherry tomatoes. Grill them for 5 min. or according to taste.
Serve with the slices of fresh lemon and toasted bread.
1/2 pound of medium-sized peeled shrimps
or prawns
2 tbsps of olive oil
2 finely sliced cloves of garlic
1/2 tsp of ground chilli pepper or chilli powder
1 tbsp of chopped parsley - salt and pepper
12 to 15 cherry tomatoes
2 slices of lemon
TOASTED SANDWICHES RECIPES
Fit the sandwich plates. Place the sandwiches in the hollows of the plates with the butter on the outside
surface of the bread. Close the appliance and gradually clamp the handles together to seal the slices
of bread together. Leave to cook for around 3 to 4 min. according to the desired degree of cooking.
Croque-Roquefort
Butter the slices of bread on the outer faces. Remove the walnuts from their shells and
cut them into pieces. Mix with 10 g of butter and the Roquefort. Spread the preparation
onto two slices then cover them with the other two slices.
Croque-monsieur Virginia
Butter the slices of bread on the outer surfaces. Peel the onion and cut it into
thin slices. Wash the chives and cut them into small pieces using scissors.
In a dish, mix the onion and chives with the cottage cheese, the cream, a pinch
of salt and half a teaspoon of paprika. Spread the mixture onto the unbuttered
side of two slices then cover them with the other two slices, so the butter is on
the outside.
Croque dessert
Butter the slices of bread on the outer surfaces. Place two chunks of chocolate,
the banana cut into round slices and two more chunks of chocolate onto the unbuttered
side of two slices of bread. Then cover with the other slices of bread, with the butter
on the outside.

nstall the wafer plates (depending on the model).
New Year wafers
Mix all ingredients until you have a smooth mixture and leave to rest for
a minimum of 2 hours.
Take some of the mixture and form into a ball, thr size of a small egg,
roll it and put it in the wafer maker (it takes 2 pieces at a time).
After 2 or 3 minutes of cooking, cut the pancake in 2 and fill with brown sugar
which has beforehand been mixed with milk so that it becomes spreadable.
You can also fill your wafers/pancakes with chocolate, jam...
You can even leave them to cool down before you enjoy them.
North Wafers
Soften the butter, beat the eggs.
Slowly add the other ingredients and the butter. Beat weil to obtain a smooth mixture.
Leave to chill in the fridge for at least 10 hours.
When you wish to cook, place 4 small balls of the mixture, the size of a large hazelnut
onto the waffle plates.
Leave to cook for about 1 1/2 to 2 minutes according to your required level of browning.
