10. Place one hand on the tiller, and with the other
hand, release the secure lever of the back handle
(Figure 13, step 1) and bring the handle to an
upright position of 90 degrees (Figure 13, step 2).
For proper operation, do not flip the handle to
180 degrees from a closed position. If you do
and are unable to lift the chair backward, return
the handle to its original position and try again.

Using the handle, pull the back of the chair backward
until it clicks and locks in place (see Figure 14).
