USING THE IRON
FILLING THE WATER TANK
1.
Make sure that the appliance is unplugged from the mains.
2.
Open the water fill plug.
3.
Fill the water tank to maximum with the water measuring cup.
4.
Close the water fill plug.
CAUTION! Do not overfill beyond the MAX mark. Use deionized (demineralized) water only.
TEMPERATURE SETTING
1.
Put the iron standing up on the back plate and set the required ironing temperature by turn-
ing the temperature control knob to the desired position.
CAUTION! Check the required ironing temperature of your textile product by referring to its information tab.
If you are unsure what fabric type the product to be ironed is, find the correct temperature
setting by ironing the part of the product that will be concealed when in use/worn. Start from
the lowest temperature setting and increase it gradually. Silk, cotton and synthetics: to pre-
vent glossy spots from heat, iron these materials inside out. Do not use the spray jet to avoid
stains while ironing.
CAUTION! Always start ironing with the products that require the lowest temperature setting.
2.
Plug the power cord to a PE (three-bolt/protective earth) mains outlet. The red indicator
lamp will go on.
3.
When the indicator lamp goes off, wait a few seconds and start ironing. The indicator lamp
will go on and off periodically during ironing. When the indicator lamp goes off, the iron has
reached the preset temperature.
THERMOSTAT INDICATOR LAMP
1.
When the indicator lamp is on, the iron is heating up to the preset temperature.
2.
The indicator lamp will go off once the preset temperature is reached.
IRONING FINISH
1.
Unplug the power cord from the mains outlet.
2.
Put away the iron standing up in a safe place and wait for it to cool down.
SPRAY JET FUNCTION
This function helps remove persistent creases.
1.
Check that there is enough water in the tank.
2.
Press the spray button repeatedly to make the ironed textile damp.
