This section covers all aspects relating to the correct operation of the product. Always follow these
instructions carefully to avoid causing any damage or injuries.
7.1
Specific risks and hazards
If a person shorter than 100 cm in height and weighing more than 25 kg operates the product using
the foot pedal, there is a risk of head injury.
7.2
Check the safety features
This product has a number of safety features, which are:
•
The safety device of the insert slot
•
The insert slot sensor
•
The door sensor
•
Main fuse
7.3
Check the work area
Always check the area around the product for people before starting to operate it. Not everyone is
familiar with the product, especially when it comes to swaying, rotating or fast-moving parts.
Please
raise this with each other, prevention is better than cure.
The operational environment must be clean and tidy. It is important to remove any objects that are
lying around on the ground. This prevents tripping over things and slipping.
7.4
Control mechanisms
The insert slot and foot pedal are control mechanisms. The insert slot can be opened by the handle. It
closes automatically by means of the gas spring. Be careful, make sure that no fingers get caught in
the slot when it closes.
The foot pedal can also be used to operate the insert slot. This can be used so that the insert slot
does not need to be handled.
The product itself has a control module that works fully automatically.
An Internet platform is available where certain operation-related settings can be made, see chapter11.
7.5

Information on the display
The display can show different types of information. The screen shown below is the standard display
screen and can be changed according to preference.
As soon as the fuse is inserted, information that may be relevant for e.g. the maintenance staff is
shown on the display. This information can also be accessed by opening the door, which then opens
the insert slot. The display will then show:
•
The current battery charge (in Volts)
•
The current capacity of the solar panel (in mA)
