- Switch to manual mode.
Before starting to record the characteristics of the shock absorber, it is necessary to set the
sequence in the "settings" menu (Fig. 24). In this menu you can specify the parameters: the
frequency of oscillation and the time of execution of each stage, the parameter of the maximum
speed of the piston is reference and calculated automatically. To change the value, press the field
with the value and use the keyboard to remove the current value, and then set the new value. The
established sequence of operations can be reused.

4.3.1. Recording a working diagram
1. The shock absorber shall be pumped in at least four cycles in the range of 10 to 30 min-1
before recording the flow chart. The operation is performed using the menu manual diagnostics.
2. The working diagram shall be recorded during the piston from 50 to 100 mm. The temperature
of the shock absorber shall be between 15 and 30 C before testing.
3. The working diagram shall be recorded at the maximum piston speed between 0.25 and 0.52
m/s, which corresponds to the oscillation frequencies:
- from 95 to 180 min-1 at the stroke of the piston 50 mm;
- from 47 to 98 min-1 at the stroke of the piston 100 mm.
4. The working diagram shall be recorded at the maximum piston speed of 0.08 to 0.20 m/s
when operating the closed-valve shock absorbers, corresponding to the oscillation frequencies:
