BIOS Setup
Suspend Mode
When you choose
User Define
in the
Power Management
item, this item is
selectable.
This setting allows you to select the type of Suspend mode. Setting
options:
Disabled
(default setting)

1 hour
.
MODEM Use IRQ
This setting names the interrupt request (IRQ) line assigned to the modem (if
any) on your system. Activity of the selected IRQ always awakens the system.
Setting options:
3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10, 11, Auto

Hot Key Function As
This feature allows users to configure the Hot Key function. Settings are:
Power Off
When this item selected, the Hot Key functions as a
normal power-on/-off button.
Suspend
Select this item, and then when the Hot Key is
pressed, the computer enters the suspend/sleep mode,
but if the button is pressed for more than four seconds,
the computer is turned off.
Disabled
Disable the Hot Key Function
HDD Off After
After the selected period of system inactivity, the Hard Disk will be shut off.
Setting options:
Disabled, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 (Mins).
Power Button Function
This feature allows users to configure the Power Button function. Settings
are:
Power Off
The power button functions as a normal power-on/-
off button.
Suspend
When you press the power button, the computer
enters the suspend/sleep mode, but if the button is
pressed for more than four seconds, the computer is
turned off.
After AC Power Lost
This item specifies whether your system will reboot after a power failure or
interrupt occurs. Available settings are:
Power Off
Leaves the computer in the power off state.
Power On
Leaves the computer in power on state.
