Broadcast PTT
One of the PTT channels may be designated as the Broadcast Channel.
When this channel is selected, all other FUSION Voice and MinePhone’s on the network that are
currently not sending or receiving on any other channel or SIP call will output the audio.
A device does not need to select the Broadcast Channel as the active channel to output this audio.
Custom PTT
Up to 30 PTT channels can be configured at Custom PTT channels.
Communication with a custom PTT channel is received by all other FUSION Voice an MinePhones
with the same active channel selected.
Emergency PTT
If the FUSION Voice is configured with any PTT channels, it MUST include one Emergency PTT
Broadcast channel.
Pressing and holding the F1 key for 5 seconds sets the device to broadcast on the Emergency
PTT channel.
If a device is broadcasting on the Emergency PTT channel, all other FUSION Voice and
MinePhones on the network will drop and existing audio capture/output and play the emergency
audio.
Transmit on Selected Channel
Pressing and holding the microphone talk button will attempt to key the currently selected channel.
If the FUSION Voice has connectivity and the channel is clear, the device will transmit audio on the
selected channel.
Release the talk button to stop transmitting audio.
