unwind as much cable as possible (until the red mark) or to use pulleys if there is
not enough space.
12. It is advisable to place a heavy fabric on the cable to prevent it causing serious
damages in case of breakage.
13. A regular rewind avoids damage to the cable. The fibers of the cable must not
cross when the cable is rewound. If so, roll back and rewind the cable properly.
14. Use block-wheelers in case of a slope.
15. Battery:
•
Make sure your battery is in good condition.
•
avoid contact with internal parts of the battery
•
Wear eye protection when working on the battery
•
When using the winch, leave the engine running so that your battery doesn´t get
empty.
16.
Steel cable
•
Inspect the cable and its attachment
•
do not use the winch if the cable is damaged
•
Do not use the vehicle as an extra force of traction
•
Do not replace the cable with a lower one
•
The longevity of the cable depends on its use and maintenance. After each use,
the cable must be rewound with a load of at least 230kg to avoid its damage.
•
Before first use, pull the cable until the red mark and rewind it properly (see
previous) to ensure proper use.
•
To replace the cable, use “Loctite” or a similar glue to fix the nut. Tighten the nut
tight, but without exaggeration. The glue will prevent relaxes by heavy load. We
recommend the following glues: Loctite 7471 “and” 222Threadlocker “
17. Do not use the winch if the load exceeds the maximum allowed.
18. Do not move the towing vehicle while using the winch, it could cause an over
-
load or damage the winch.
19. Avoid to submit the wich to jerks, it damages the cable and can lead to breakage.
20. This winch is suitable for mounting it on a boat or a car for a non-industrial use.
21. Do not use the winch to lift weights.
22. The winch is not designed for lifting people.
TIPS
1. Your battery must be in good condition
2. Make sure the cable is not stuck and that it does not rub against an object.
3. Corrosion on electrical conduits can lead to short circuits. Secure connections
INSTALLATION
1) Choose a suitable mounted plate. First of all, choose a mounted plate matching
your electric winch. Be sure the motor, drum and gear box on the one surface after
installation. The second is certain that the mounted plate can withstand the winch
pulling.
2) Fix the mounting plate position. The rule is that winch is withstanded by the chassis
and the operation doesn‘t interfere with any vehicles‘s moving/functions parts. Such
as the function of air route, oil route and ignored aircondition. If the vehicle has SRS,
make sure that the operation never interfere with it.
3) Our company optional offers one normal mounting plate (seeing Figure 1). Fix the
roller fairlead in front of the mounting plate and installed four points with 4 screws
on the mounting plate.
4) Note the winch direction after installation, the wire rope runs through the bottom
of the drum (see Figure 2).
5) Fixed the roller fairlead, open the rubber belt or zig tie ( care for the spring out
the wire rope head) , spool out the wire rope from the middle of roller fairlead and
connect the hook (clevis hook ).
