Silencing & Troubleshooting Alarms
The alarms activate if any of the following conditions occur:
Product removed from sensor cable while armed
Sensor cable attached to product incorrectly (intermittent alarm)
Loose cable connections on alarm module (intermittent alarm)
Cut or damaged sensor cables
To solve alarm conditions:
Identify alarming position
Should be flashing LED (unless
cable was cut and is missing)
1
Fix alarming position
If the security cable was cut or damaged,
unplug the cable and replace it with a
new one. LED should return to solid red
when the alarm condition is resolved.
3
Turn keyswitch to ALARM ON
LED should be solid red indicating
position is again armed and active. If
the LED is off, this indicates the cable is
damaged and must be replace or that
the cable is not properly mounted.
4
Solid red
Turn keyswitch to
DISARM ALARM
Audible alarm quits but LED
continues to flash
Note: If the alarm was triggered
by an intermittent problem,
such as a loose connection
or temporary short circuit,
the flashing LED may turn
solid red as soon as you turn
the keyswitch to DISARM
ALARM. If this occurs, verify
that the sensor cable is
properly attached and that all
connections are secure.
