8.4.2 Fuel prefilter – Draining

Preconditions

Engine is stopped and starting disabled.

WARNING

Fuels are combustible and explosive.
Risk of fire and explosion!
• Avoid open flames, electrical sparks and ignition sources.
• Do not smoke.
• Wear protective clothing, protective gloves, and safety glasses / facial protection.

Draining fuel prefilter

1.

Provide a suitable container to collect the wa-
ter.

2.

Open drain screws (1).

3.

Allow water to drain out.

4.

Close drain screws (1) again.
