• Check components for special cleanliness.

Incorrect installation of components and lines.
Damage to component!
• Ensure that components/lines are installed so that they are never under tension or strain.
• Ensure correct installation position of components.
Replacing coalescer filter ele-
ment
1.
Close ball valve at the inlet and outlet of
the fuel treatment system.
2.
Open drain valve.
3.
Drain fuel.
4.
Close drain valve.
5.
Remove nuts (9) and washers (2).
6.
Remove screws (1).
7.
Remove cover with seal (10).
8.
Remove nut (3), washer (8) and end
plate (4).
9.
Remove coalescer filter element (5).
10.
Collect emerging fuel.
11.
Clean housing with a non-linting cloth,
rinse with fuel if required.
12.
Check housing for corrosion.
13.
Clean housing sealing surfaces.
14.
Install coalescer filter element (5).
15.
Install end plate (4), washer (8) and nut (3).
