Drive the Mudd-Ox Fort Mac Cont.
Control Levers
You will use the control levers to change direction of the machine. There are two control levers on the Mudd-Ox. The left lever operates the
left side wheels/track and the right lever operates the right side wheels/track. When you move the levers forward, the wheels/track will turn
forward. When you move the levers back towards your body, the wheels/track turn backwards. To counter-rotate the vehicle, carefully operate
the levers in opposite directions. Please note that smooth minor movements on the controls are all that is needed to drive the Mudd-Ox.
Climbing Steep Hills
When climbing a steep in hill the Mudd-Ox, ease back on the control levers. This system is designed to provide maximum power and torque to
prevent engine bogging or stall. Use precise movements and Low range.
Turning Radius
Always keep in mind that the Mudd-Ox has a tight turning radius and can make abrupt and sudden turns. Do not attempt any 360 degrees
turn within 15 feet of any person or obstacle outside the machine.
