In order for the router to find an address automatically (DHCP) left click on the pull down
menu labeled
Internet connection type.
Select the automatic configuration (DHCP)
option. Now scroll down to the bottom of this page and click on the
Save Settings
button.
The router is now set up to find addresses automatically.
MLogger can’t Access the Internet using a Satellite

If you have access to a satellite and can’t get to the Internet through the MLogger but you
can when you put the satellite cable directly to your computer. The router in the
MLogger needs to be reconfigured to recognize the satellite’s modem.
A.
First find the IP address for the satellite.
i.
Take the satellite Ethernet cable and plug it into the Ethernet port in your
computer.
ii.
Go to the lower left corner on your Windows desktop and click on the
Start
button. Select
Run
from the menu and when its window pops up type in
cmd
in
the prompt and click on OK or hit enter.
iii.
A black window will pop up and will show a prompt that looks a lot like the old
DOS prompt. Next type in
ipconfig
and hit enter. Look for an Ethernet adapter
Local Area Connection. Copy down the IP Address, Subnet Mask, and Default
Gateway.
