Section 7: Power Supply Shutdown
If power supply shutdown becomes necessary at any time, observe the following procedure:
1.
Operate the Input breaker to the OFF (O) position or operate the circuit breaker serving AC utility power to
the supply to the OFF position.
2.
Disconnect the battery harness from the battery receptacle on the front panel of the UPS.
3.
Disconnect the power harness from the power receptacle on the front panel of the UPS. The UPS is now
shutdown and completely isolated from both power sources.

The EDP Double Conversion series power supplies support several optional features appearing in the following list.
The options and accessories listed enhance the usefulness of your power supply system as aids to installation and
servicing and are available through Multilink as extra-cost items. Part numbers are listed as single piece ordering
options.
UPS Packages
:
EDP UPS packages contain the required equipment for a complete, turnkey power supply solution. The kit contains
an EDP Double Conversion UPS, Safety Automatic Transfer Switch, power harness, battery harness kit, temperature
probe, pluggable terminal blocks, and this instruction manual. Battery options are available but are not included in the
UPS packages. Please contact Multilink Inc. for available options.

The following battery cable kits have been designed for 24V, 36V, and 48V applications. All harnesses are terminated
using Anderson PP75

housings and contacts.
870-230-20: 24V harness with 2, interconnect harnesses. Hardware included.
870-230-30: 36V harness with 3, interconnect harnesses. Hardware included.
870-230-10: 48V harness with 4, interconnect harnesses. Hardware included.
538-531-10: Battery terminal covers. Sold in single battery pairs, Black and Red.
Battery Heater Mats
:
In harsh climates where freezing temperatures can shorten the life of the batteries, Multilink has designed battery mat
options for various battery string and cabinet shelf applications.
