shall not take place in the computer but in the media player after moving the USB stick there.
Now remove the USB stick from your computer.

To reset to factory state using the rescue USB stick
All data on the MultiQ device will be erased and the device will be reset to factory default for the by
the USB stick included firmware version.
It is important to power off the MultiQ device before inserting the USB upgrade stick. If you insert
the SB stick after the device is running the device will erase the USB stick and use it as extended
storage.
Disconnect power from your MultiQ media player and insert the USB memory stick.
Connect USB keyboard to media player.
The media player will now reboot and do auto install of the new software. Wait until installation is
completed and follow instructions on screen.
When using a rescue stick with a media player that is in standalone mode, the boot order will
automatically change to the external USB memory if detected on any of the USB ports. Note that
with older software the boot order will not change automatically and you need to login to the BIOS
setup menu as is described in the section below “Rescue stick used with media player in managed
mode”.
Connect the USB rescue stick to the media player.
