If the media player has not been previously been configured (in factory default state) it will directly
display the “Settings” menu (Figure 11). You will now find that “Managed” (meaning “centrally
managed”) is selected by default.

Note If the media player is already set up in standalone mode you will need the password that was
set at the initial set up of the unit to get to the “Settings” menu. If prompted for a user name and
password you will find see the virtual keyboard at the bottom of the page. By default the username
is “admin”.
If the password has been lost you need to restore the factory state of the media monitor. See
Appendix 2.

Note If you intend to set up a media monitor that has previously been configured to operate with a
central server; you will need a user name and a password before displaying the “Settings” menu.
