7.1. General
The AHU indicates whether the filter has to be changed by showing “Change filter.”
Nevertheless, we recommend you check your system regularly. During the pollen season, the grilles and ducts may get
clogged very rapidly. A simple cleaning (inside the device and outside using a vacuum cleaner) makes it easier for air to
pass through your system..
IN ANY EVENT:
THE GRILLES, AIR DIFFUSERS AND DUCTS MUST BE CLEANED SEVERAL TIMES A YEAR.
ATTENTION : Not changing the filter may cause the following:
• Reduced flow rate and risk of condensation problems reappearing.
• Premature clogging of the ducts and the unit through resettlement of dust.
• Increased air circulation noise.
The filter installed initially is a category G4 filter capable of filtering particles of 10 microns and more than 90%.
We advise you to get your filters from Murprotect, whose phone number is indicated on the control panel: they are
thoroughly familiar with our equipment and the programmed settings. There are many types of filter and it is necessary
to use one that complies fully with the dimensions and initialised filtering category.
A change or adaptation of a filter category would lead to serious malfunctions, possible discharges of toxic or foul sub-
stances inside your home, and loss of warranty. In case of problems, do not hesitate to contact your supplier.
7. AHU MAINTENANCE
AND FILTER CHANGE
7.2. Filter change
7.2.1. General
When the filter has reached its working lifecycle, the control panel indicates “Change filter.” It is time to proceed to the
annual maintenance of your system.
Each time you remove the filter or after a power outage, the control panel asks you whether you have put in a new filter.
Take advantage of the opportunity to clean inside the cover, the exterior grilles and the interior diffusers. and the air inlet
duct, if deposits appear; all you have to do is unscrew the 4 retaining thumbscrews and remove the protection grille.
Take care not to injure yourself. The equipment may have cutting edges.
Tip: Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dirt. Then scrub with a damp cloth to remove dust. Use a dry cloth to dry.
