REPACKING
Gently squeeze the Inflatable PFD until all air or gas has been
expelled (Fig. 11). Do not wring or twist the Inflatable PFD. Put the
inflation tube dust cap back in its stowed position on the oral inflation
tube (Fig. 12). Do not use finger to depress oral tube to expel air from
bladder.
NOTE: BEFORE FOLLOWING THE REPACKING SEQUENCE, BE SURE TO PROPERLY
RE-ARM YOUR INFLATABLE PFD.
1. Work on a smooth surface free from any sharp objects which
could puncture or damage the unit.
2. Fold outer sides along the full length of the dotted line (Fig. 18).
3. Fold the two inner sides along dotted lines (Fig. 19). Fasten along
the full length of the Velcro™. Ensure that the Inflatable PFD is
tucked under the Velcro™ strip.
4. Turn the PFD over so the back of the PFD is facing you (Fig. 21).
5. Fold down the back flap and fasten the three Velcro strips in
the back panel together, ensuring the bladder fabric is securely
tucked inside (Fig. 21).
6. Fig. 22 shows back view of a correctly folded inflatable PFD.
7. Ensure the pull-tab is on the outside of the folded Inflatable PFD
by pulling it through an elastic loop at the bottom. Be careful
not to pull too hard as it could cause accidental inflation.
