User tips
· This car seat forms part of the “universal”
category and has been approved for the use
in vehicles in accordance with the ECE 44.03
standard. It fits most, but not all car seats.
· It can be fitted properly if the car manufacturer
states in its car manual that a “universal” car
sit for the 0+ group can be fitted in the car.
· This car seat has been labelled “universal” on
the basis of standards that are stricter than
those that applied to previous designs bearing
that designation.
· When in doubt, always consult the car seat
manufacturer or retailer.
· If you encounter any problems when using your
Traveller car seat, you must contact the manu-
facturer.
· The Traveller car seat should only be used in
cars fitted with 3-point safety belts that comply
with the UN/ECE N˚. 16 standard, or similar
legislation.
Fabric upholstery
· All Mutsy fabrics undergo testing, but if the
product becomes extremely wet, the moisture
can be absorbed by the interior and exterior
fabric and leave rings behind. To prevent this
from happening, we advise that you always use
the raincovers during wet weather.
· The lining can be hand-washed with a mild de-
tergent at a maximum temperature of 30°C.
! Do not wash in the washing machine or dry in
a tumble dryer.
· Stains in the lining or upholstery can be treat-
ed with a mild detergent (without bleach) and
tepid water. Always treat the entire surface.
Leave wet upholstery to dry.
· Despite the fact that the fabric upholstery of
Mutsy has been selected with the greatest of
care and has been tested for colour fastness,
the colours of the fabric may still fade. Mutsy
accepts no liability for fading colours.
Removing and fitting the upholstery (J)
· Undo the push buttons left and right. If need-
ed, remove the hood, the cover, the reducer
and the belt protectors and pull the belts
through the holes. The upholstery can now be
removed. When refitting the upholstery, ensure
the far ends of the upholstery are fitted back
correctly.
