: The timer does not work with the “Pulse” function.

: The time can also be changed when the timer is activated, by pressing the
Plus/Minus buttons.
▪ Once the time has elapsed, the appliance beeps and switches off
automatically. The LED ring on the speed controller flashes until you turn it to
the Off position (0).
Note
: Hold the Start/Pause button pressed down for at least three seconds to
reset the timer. “00” appears on the display.
Note
: The LCD switches off automatically after one hour if you do not press the
Start/Pause button, Plus/Minus buttons or the speed controller. This resets the
timer.
Pausing the timer function with the automatic switch-off
The timer function can be “paused” at any time.
▪ Set the speed controller to the Off position (0) to “pause” the time. The
icon starts to flash.
▪ Select the desired speed setting again using the speed controller to reactivate
the timer function. The icon stops flashing.
Note
: To reactivate the timer, the speed controller must be in the Off position (0).
Note
: During operation and when the timer is activated, the timer pauses if the
mixer cover or front cover is removed or the mixer arm is opened. The (Image)
icon and LED ring flash. The timer starts again once the covers have been replaced
and the mixer arm has been locked into position or the speed controller is moved
to the Off position (0) once and back to the required speed setting.
Splash guard (9)
▪ The splash guard (9) prevents splashing during mixing. The filler opening on
the splash guard (9) can also be used to add further ingredients directly while
mixing.
▪ Press the release button to tilt the mixer arm upwards.
Note
: The mixer accessories (flat beater, dough hook and whisk) must be
removed before inserting the splash guard (9).
▪ Insert the splash guard (9) into the mixer arm holder from underneath with
the filler opening facing upwards.
▪ Turn the splash guard (9) in a clockwise direction until it locks into place.
Note
: The splash guard (9) can be used in three different positions (Figs. H-J).
▪ Push the required mixer accessory (flat beater, kneading hook or whisk) into
the attachment as far as it will go and rotate it anticlockwise until it locks
into place.
▪ Lower the mixer arm.
▪ The splash guard (9) does not need to be removed to detach the mixer
accessories.
▪ To remove the splash guard (9), set the speed controller to the Off position (0)
and lift the mixer arm. Turn the splash guard (9) in an anticlockwise direction
and pull it downwards.
