Creating scenarios

Scenarios are sequences of actions that can be triggered on demand, when needed, or based on specific
events (time, alert, triggered sensor, etc.).

Four types of scenarios

On demand, example: Turn on a controlled outlet and close a shutter as a single action.

Time-based, example: Close the living room shutter every evening at 11:00 p.m.

Event-based, example: When the brightness changes from "daylight" to "low", turn on

the outlet for the living room lamp.

Simulated presence, example: Turn on the lights and close the shutters at 7:00 p.m. when you are

   on vacation.

Advanced personalization

A scenario can be triggered with a given time delay (example: close the shutters 30

seconds after an intrusion to allow time to disable the protection before the home is
   protected from an intrusion)

•

A scenario can perform the opposite actions after a given time delay or only under certain

conditions (example: to turn on the light for one minute when returning home, but
   only in the evening)

etc.

Configuring the alerts

Emails are free and unlimited. Text messages and voice alerts can be purchased in packages (100 credits), or
they may be unlimited (à la carte or Premium subscription).  The available credit balance is displayed in the
top horizontal banner (see p. 10).

Selecting alert recipients

Myfox alerts can be sent to multiple recipients at the same time (maximum of four).
Recipients can be selected based on the event type:

• Security

: detected break-in or motion

• Home-related risk

: detected smoke, CO, flood, etc.

• Distress call

: panic function from a remote control or keypad

•

Central defect

: technical defect involving the main unit

• Accessory defect

: technical defect involving an accessory

• Level of protection

: notification of a change in the status of protection and the user

   who made the change

Personalizing alerts by sensor

The Myfox system can generate

audio alerts

(indoor sirens, outdoor sirens, and a siren built into the main

unit) and send

alert messages

by email, text message, or personalized voice call, individually for each sensor.

This personalization is done individually for each sensor in the

My System

 menu.

1 credit = 1 sent text message or 1 sent voice alert
