A computer connected to the Internet
A valid email address
A high-speed Internet connection
GPRS coverage where your main unit is installed, if this option is chosen (contact our customer service only
if operators offer GPRS coverage where you are located)
A power outlet for the main unit
• with a transmission (upload) rate of at least 256 kbps if you are using an SD camera (640x400) and
512 kbps if you are using an HD camera (1200x800)
• optional:
A socket for the camera, a socket for the indoor siren
• with an open Ethernet port

About your main unit
Where should you set up your main unit?
Ideally, you should install the main unit near the Internet router and connect it using the supplied Ethernet
cable.
Thanks to the CPL network outlets, the main unit can be moved anywhere in the home.
You can install the main unit flat or on a wall, as far away as possible from anything that could potentially
disrupt the quality of its radio signal (monitor, computer, power meter, etc.).
Choose someplace out of view to avoid drawing the attention of a potential intruder.
