During the time the control
solution is going into the test
strip, the segments will
rotate clockwise. When the
confirmation window of the
strip is completely filled with
control solution, you will
hear a beep (if the volume
of the meter is switched
on) and the measurement
process starts.
After a countdown of
5 seconds, the test
result of the control solution
test appears.
The result will automatically
be marked with the control
solution symbol .
Compare your quality con-
trol test result to the control
solution range printed
on the test strip vial label.
Clean the top of the cap
and close the cap on
the control solution bottle.
The meter may switch off if the
control solution sample is not applied
within 2 minutes of the symbol
appearing on the screen. If the meter
turns off, remove the strip, reinsert,
and start the procedure again.
The control solution test results saved
with the control solution symbol
are not included in the averages.
