Troubleshooting
Eliminate the most common myPV ClearSky™ Interconnection operational issues
quickly and safely.
Missing Single-Phase Current
Whether in the SLE-735 Power Quality Meter, or the SLE-751 Protection Relay, a zero
value (0.0A reading) is most commonly due to a CT wire lead being terminated
improperly in the Utility MV Termination Cabinet.
MV installation crews typically disconnect the wire leads while installing the CTs over
the MV conductors. When reconnecting the wire leads, the electrical connections may
be landed on the wire insulation instead of the conductor, opening the CT’s current path.
See image of CT wire lead insulation deformed by improper re-termination.
