Pre-Authorisation completion
The pre-authorisation completion
process looks up the original
pre-authorisation record, confirms
the transaction value and puts the
pre-authorisation payment through
as a transaction. A Pre-Authorisation
Completion transaction should be
performed up to 7 days from when
the Pre-Authorisation was processed.
Step 1
Press the
MENU
button on the
home screen
Step 2
Press
4. Completion
and press
SELECT
Step 3
Prompt customer to
SWIPE
or
INSERT
their card
Step 4
Enter the digit
Auth#
(Authorisation
number) found on the merchant receipt
and press
OK
NB The Auth# may at times be in an
alphanumeric format therefore check
the details as you enter each number
