7.1.6 Automatic Exposure
With the automatic exposure function ON, the shutter exposure time can be automatically adjusted
from the shortest exposure time (10usec) to the longest exposure time (designated by the shutter
exposure time).
7.1.7 DRES Mode (Dynamic Range Extender)
The brightness is determined in pixel units and only the pixels above a given level are exposed by the
shutter speed determined in the DRES mode. Pixels below the given level are exposed by the normal
shutter speed.
It is possible to take extended dynamic range images by suppressing the saturation of the areas with
high luminance.
