■ Precautions for Handling Product
Do not apply excessive load, vibration or shock.
Damage to the product and release of measuring fluid may be
caused, which results in injury or damage to the surrounding
environment.
Repeated applied pressure shall be within the rated pressure
range and shall not exceed the maximum allowable pressure.
Damage to pressure elements may be caused, which results in
injury or damage to the surrounding environment.
When measuring fluid is oxygen, use a degreased product.
Oil may be left in general products, reacting with oxygen, and
causing fire or explosion.
Applying high pressure will lower the gas ignition temperature,
which increases the risk of ignition or explosion. When using the
product, avoid exceeding the ignition temperature of the gas in
consideration of high pressure.
This instrument is designed to be explosion proof.
Do not use, install, store, or attempt to impair explosion-proof
performance in any of the following environments.
1) Installation that impairs the explosion-proof performance of an
intrinsically safe circuit (hereinafter called the "Intrinsically Safe
Circuit")
•
Where exceeding an ambient temperature of 60 deg.C
*1
•
Where exposed to direct sunlight
*1
•
Where liquids, such as rain, may be splashed
*2
•
Where atmosphere contains moisture, salt, or sulfur
*2
2) Wiring that impairs the explosion-proof performance of
Intrinsically Safe Circuits
*3
3) Maintenance and inspection of the product in a Hazardous Area
*4
Do not use this product on measuring fluid which are corrosive to
fluid or gas contacting areas.
Do not use this product if failure or malfunction of the product
may threaten human life directly or cause harm to human bodies.
Do not modify the product.
If the product is disassembled or modified, or modified by adding
new functions, there is a risk of bodily injury.
*1 Exposure to direct sunlight will exceed the intrinsically safe allowable temperature of 60 deg.C and impair the
intrinsically safe protection performance. Install the product in a location that is not exposed to direct sunlight.
*2 The case may corrode due to the effects of weather, sea wind, condensation, etc. and the safety protection
performance may be impaired, or moisture in the air may enter the case and impair the safety insulation
performance. Install the case in a place that is not affected by such effects.
*3 For details, refer to "7. WIRING AND CONNECTION".
*4 Only inspect this product in the Hazardous Area by visual inspection. Other maintenance work should be
performed in a "Non-hazardous Area" and never in the Hazardous Area.
Avoid electrostatic charging. When cleaning the product, use a soft cloth containing water.
