1. Measure the distance from the bar to
the line organizer. This should be 82 cm.
3. Take your box cutter and cut off the
knot inside the handle.
4. Tape the end of the trim line so that
it doesn’t fray and allows you to feed it
through various spare parts later.
5. Take handle and yellow ball off the
end of the line. Then pull the line out of
the line organizer and cleat so that it is
now entirely free.
Tip: The bradawl tool comes in handy
here when pulling the line out through
the cleat.
2. Measure the distance from the bar to
the cleat. This is typically 54 cm.
7. Pull the trim line completely out of the
quick release mechanism.
8. The end of the trim line is looped onto
the cleat. Use the bradawl to loosen and
remove the trim line from the cleat entirely.
9.Take the taped end of the trim line
and insert between the roller and the
bridge starting from the cleat side of
the metal body.
Important: Do not insert
it under the roller as it was when you
disassembled it.
6. Pull the quick release open so you
have access to the trim line underneath.
10. Guide it through the loop at the end
of the trim line and pull it tight.
11. Feed the taped end of the trim line up
through the bottom of the yellow handle.
