Equalizing charging
Equalizing charging will be automatically conducted in fully-charged status
after normal charging is conducted twenty times.
To stop equalizing charging, keep pressing the Info.Key (change) button for 6
seconds. The “equalizing charging” indicator lamp turns off, and equalizing
charging stops.
If you keep pressing the Info.Key (change) button for 4 seconds, equalizing
charging starts.
If the power supply is connected even after equalizing charging is completed,
equalizing charging will be automatically restarted at elapse of one hour after
completion of equalizing charging.
Once equalizing charging is manually executed, equalizing charging will not
be automatically conducted afterwards.
If the daily “normal charging” is not enough, conduct supplementary charging
in an intermission (lunch break, etc.).
The “Info/Key” (change) switch provides the following functions (The number of seconds for which the "Info/Key"
switch is pressed is displayed on the information display window.) :
If you press the “Info/Key” (change) switch for 2 seconds, charge data are displayed on the information display
window in sequence.
Pressing this switch for 3 seconds quits the information display.
While the battery is used for a certain period, the battery electrolyte level in
each battery cell varies. To equalize the battery electrolyte level in each cell,
equalizing charging should be conducted at a specified interval.
If you press the “Info/Key” (change) switch for 4 seconds, manual equalizing charging starts.
Pressing this switch for 6 seconds quits the equalizing charging.
