9-3 Install the Operating System
The Notebook PC may have installed the Linux Operating System. You can install
another operating system via the USB USB-basic Optical Disc device.
1.
Power on the external Optical Disc device, and connect it with the Notebook PC.

Select the “USB CD-ROM Drive” as the first startup item

as show below:

Then click the “ESC” key to return the main menu, click the direction keys to select
“Save values and Exit”, click the “Enter” key to save the setting and exit the BIOS
setup menu.
4.
Install the desired operating system.
5.
After installing the operating system, select the “Hard Drive” as the first startup
selection again. As show below:

Click the “ESC” key to return the main menu. Click the direction keys to select
“Save values and Exit” and click “ENTER” key to save the setting and exit from the
BIOS setup menu.
