ALTERNATOR
SAFETY REQUIREMENT
Before any cleaning, lubrication or maintenance work is
carried out, the engine to which the alternator is coupled
must not be running but must be disconnected from its
power sources.
To switch off an alternator, it is necessary to follow
The alternator is not fitted with an emergency stop, but
it will stop instantly according to the shutdown system
provided by the installer.
During the consultation of this instruction and
maintenance manual, you will find some symbols; these
have a specific meaning.
Alternator safety devices
The safety features of the alternator are:
1. Protective screen on the front shield.
2. Terminal box cover.
3. Rear cover.

Do not remove the labels attached to the alternator under
any circumstances.
