IMPORTANT PROGRAMMING TIPS
for
MESSAGES
TIP 1. Setting the STOP DATE for the CURRENT MESSAGE and the
START DATE for a REPLACEMENT MESSAGE
When setting a STOP DATE for a current message and a START DATE for
a replacement message, the CURRENT MESSAGE and the NEW MESSAGE
must have the same date for STOPPING and STARTING.
Eg: If Message 001 stops on 30/11/15 and Message 002 starts on 1/12/15.
This will result in no message playing on the 30/11/15
This is because Message 001 will stop playing at 1 minute after midnight on 30/11/15
(unless a Stop Time has also been entered) and Message 002 will not start to play until 1
minute after midnight on the 1/12/15.
Current Message stop date should be 1/12/15,
New Message start date should be 1/12/15.
Similarly, if Message 001 finishes at 7:59 each day and Message 002 starts
at 8:00 each day, then there will be a 1 minute period from 7:59 to 8:00 where
a message will not play.
TIP 1 - Always make :
the START and STOP DATES the SAME
the START and STOP TIMES the SAME
For the Current and Replacement Messages
