INCOMING CALL OPERATION
Both Models
LINE SELECTOR
will route incoming calls on either line, to the attached
device(s).
Incoming calls on Line 1 will be connected direct to the attached device(s)
without delay.
Incoming calls on Line 2 will be connected direct to the attached device(s) after
a one ring delay.
Note : In the event of POWER LOSS you will ONLY receive calls on Line 1.
OUTGOING CALLS – Model LS1
Model
LS1
will always select LINE 1 to make your outgoing calls.
If LINE 1 is
IN USE
or
NOT CONNECTED
, Model
LS1
will then Automatically
Connect the Attached Device to Line 2 so that it can make an Outgoing Call.
If Both LINE 1 and LINE 2 are
IN USE
or
NOT CONNECTED
, Model
LS1
will not be
able to connect the Attached Device to Either Line to make an Outgoing Call. The
Device will have to re-try at a later time.
OUTGOING CALLS – Model LS2
For outgoing calls, Model
LS2
can be set to select LINE 2 by the following methods:
1) AUTOMATIC Line Change when Line 1 is Busy
(as per LS1)
2) MANUAL DTMF SELECTED Line Change
(see page 8)
Important Note
- LINE 1 should be your normal TELECOM LINE to allow for
outgoing emergency calls (911 in USA, 000 in Australia etc.) and to allow for
incoming and outgoing calls, even when power is lost.
