18. Slide the replacement RMX load module into the ECUTS-16000.
19. Tighten the screw at the bottom of the RMX load module using the flathead screwdriver.
20. Connect the AC power cable, ethernet jack connection, and interlock connector to the RMX load module.
21. Depress the spring retention with a flathead screwdriver and replace the sense wires.
22. Connect the power supply connector to the RMX load module.
23. Screw in the cable screws to the RMX load modules using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
24. Close the load module cable cover.
25. Install the PEP to the test rack.
26. Screw in the four screws to the PEP using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
27. Connect the ethernet cable, the Molex connector, and the power connector to the inside of the PEP.
28. Connect the ethernet cable, AC power cable, and USB cable to the rear of the PEP.
29. Insert the filter panel mounting frame.
30. Screw in the two screws securing the filter mounting frame to the test rack using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
31. Replace the ECUTS-16000 rear air filter.
32. Screw in the four screws to the rear air filter using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
Configuration Steps
33. Reset the RMX electronic load module to the default factory settings.
Notice
Ensure the RMX electronic load modules are inserted in the RMX-4002 mainframe before performing this procedure.
a)
Press the ON/STBY button on the RMX-4002 power on the mainframe.
b)
Press the FILE button.
c)
Press the F1 button until the Media/Default menu appears.
d)
Press the Factory Default (F2) button to recall the factory default settings.
e)
Wait for the
Recalling default settings
text to disappear and press the FILE button.
f)
Press the Save (F3) button to save the default settings.
34. Set up network connectivity.
a)
Press the SHIFT button and then press the HELP button to access the utility menu.
b)
Press the Interface Menu (F3) button.
c)
Turn the selector knob until
Interface
is highlighted.
d)
Press and turn the selector knob until
Interface
is set to
Ethernet
.
e)
Press the selector knob to confirm the selection.
f)
Turn the selector knob until

Press the selector knob to confirm the IP address.
m) Turn the selector knob until

is highlighted.

, complete the following steps:
1.
Press the selector knob.
2.
Turn the selector knob to select the first value of the subnet mask.

Use the keypad to type the corresponding value into the spaces.

Press the selector knob to confirm the new address.

Press and hold the STD/STB button for ten seconds to power off the RMX electronic load module.
q)
Press and hold the STD/STB button for ten seconds to power on the RMX electronic load module.
35. Add the RMX electronic load module to NI MAX.
Note
You only need to add the RMX electronic load module to NI MAX if the RMX electronic load module no longer appears
as registered in NI MAX.
