10. Locate the auxiliary power supply on the left or right TRC bracket, if present. Remove the PXIe-4112 auxiliary power supplies.
Note
Keep the auxiliary power supplies zip tied to the TRC bracket. The TRC bracket can be removed with the auxiliary
power supplies attached.
a)
Disconnect the output connectors from the PXIe-4112.
b)
Remove the auxiliary power input connector from the PXIe-4112.
c)
Remove the AC power cable from the auxiliary power supply.
11. Remove the screws securing the left-side TRC bracket to the test rack using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
12. Remove the right-side TRC bracket.
a)
Disconnect the cables from the transceiver cables.
b)
Disconnect the transceiver cables from the rear of the PXI chassis.
c)
Remove the screws securing the TRC bracket to the test rack using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
13. Loosen the screw on PDU DC supply cables using the flathead screwdriver.
14. Disconnect the PDU DC supply cables, AC power cables, and inhibit cables from the PDU.
15. Remove the screws securing the PDU front brackets to the test rack using the #2 Phillips screwdriver and remove the front brackets.
16. Remove the screws securing the PDU rear brackets to the test rack using the #2 Phillips screwdriver and remove the rear brackets.
17. Remove the screws from the rack mount bracket on both sides of the PDU using the #1 Phillips screwdriver remove the rack mount
bracket.
18. Remove the four screws securing the PDU rack mount ears to the test rack using the #2 Phillips screwdriver and remove the PDU rack
mount ears.
19. Slide the PDU out of the test rack.
20. Slide the replacement PDU into the rear of the test rack.
21. Install the PDU rack mount ears and screw in the four screws securing the PDU rack mount ears to the test rack using the #2 Phillips
screwdriver.
22. Install the rack mount bracket and screw in the screws from the rack mount bracket on both sides of the PDU using the #1 Phillips
screwdriver.
23. Install the PDU rear brackets and screw in the screws that secure the PDU rear brackets to the test rack using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
24. 15. Install the PDU front brackets and screw in the screws securing the PDU front brackets to the test rack using the #2 Phillips
screwdriver.
25. Connect the PDU DC supply cables, AC power cables, and inhibit cables to the PDU.
26. Tighten the screw on PDU DC supply cables using the flathead screwdriver.
27. Install the right-side TRC bracket, if present.
a)
Screw in the screws securing the right-side TRC bracket to the test rack using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
b)
Connect the transceiver cables to the PXI chassis.
c)
Connect the cables to the TRCs.
28. Screw in the screws securing the left-side TRC bracket to the test rack using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
29. Install the PXIe-4112 auxiliary power supplies on the original TRC bracket, if present.
a)
Connect the AC power cable to the auxiliary power supply.
b)
Connect the auxiliary power input connector to the PXIe-4112.
c)
Connect the output connectors to the PXIe-4112.
30. Install the USB-6363 onto the left-side TRC bracket, if present.
a)
Screw in the two screws on the top retention bracket using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
b)
Connect the VHDCI cables to the USB-6363.
c)
Connect the power cable to the USB-6363.
31. Sit the left and side panels back into the test rack.
32. Turn the two quarter-turn locks on the left and right panels of the test rack using the flathead screwdriver.
33. Tilt and sit the rear cabinet door back in the test rack.
34. Pull the spring pin attached to the inside hinge of the rear cabinet down and secure the pin back to the test rack.
35. Close the rear cabinet door.
36. Replace the filler panels above the mass interconnect.
37. Screw in the four filler panel screws on each filler panel using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
