28. Connect the transceivers to the mass interconnect using the D-sub cables.
29. Sit the left and right panels back into the test rack.
30. Turn the four quarter-turn locks on the left and right panels of the test rack using the flathead screwdriver.
31. Replace the filler panels and keyboard tray on the system using the #2 Philips screwdriver and four screws each.
Replacing the PEP

1.
Power off the ECUTS-16000.
2.
Remove the ground cable nut from the PEP using the adjustable wrench.
3.
Remove the ground cable from the PEP.
4.
Disconnect the AC power cable, ethernet cable, and USB cable from the PEP.
5.
Remove the screws securing the USB ports to the PEP using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
6.
Remove the screws securing the PEP to the test rack using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
7.
Remove the PEP out from the test rack.
8.
Disconnect the ethernet cable, the Molex connector, and the power connector from the inside of the PEP.
9.
Connect the ethernet cable, the Molex connector, and the power connector to the inside of the replacement PEP.
10. Place the PEP in the test rack.
11. Screw in the screws securing the PEP to the test rack using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
12. Screw in the screws securing the USB ports to the PEP using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
13. Connect the AC power cable, ethernet cable, and USB cable from the PEP.
14. Insert the ground cable into the PEP.
15. Torque the ground cable nut to the PEP using the adjustable wrench to 1.29 N · m (11.5 lb · in.).
(ECUTS-16001) Replacing the PEP

1.
Power off the ECUTS-16001
2.
Fold down the keyboard tray.
3.
Remove the filler panels between the keyboard tray and the EPO panel (U23-U25) by unscrewing the screws using the #2 Phillips
screwdriver.
4.
Unplug the USB cables routed from the PEP (blue cables) from the PXI controller.
5.
Remove the ground cable nut from the PEP using the adjustable wrench.
6.
Remove the ground cable from the PEP.
7.
Disconnect the facility AC power cable, ethernet cable, and USB cable from the PEP.
8.
Disconnect the internal ground from the PEP grounding plate using the #1 Phillips screwdriver.
9.
Remove the PEP from the test rack.
10. Connect the power connectors to the inside of the PEP.
11. Connect the internal ground cable to the PEP grounding plate using the #1 Phillips screwdriver.
12. Connect the Molex connector from the EPO panel to the inside of the PEP.
13. Connect the ethernet cable to the inside of the PEP.
14. Attach the internal ground cable to the PEP ground plate using the #1 Phillips screwdriver.
15. Place the PEP into the test rack.
16. Screw in the screws securing the PEP to the test rack using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
17. Connect the facility AC power cable, ethernet cable, and USB cable to the PEP.
18. Attach the ground cable into the PEP ground lug.
19. Torque the ground cable nut to the PEP using the adjustable wrench to 1.29 N · m (11.5 lb · in.).
