If you are missing any of the items listed in Table 1-1, or if you have the
incorrect AC power cable, contact National Instruments.
You have the option of powering the PXI-1031DC chassis with a DC
power cable through the DC input connector on the rear panel of the
chassis. Refer to Figure 1-3 for the location of the DC connector.
Key Features
The PXI-1031/PXI-1031DC combines a 4-slot PXI backplane with a
structural design that has been optimized for maximum usability in a wide
range of applications.
The key features of the chassis include the following:

Accepts 3U PXI and CompactPCI (PICMG 2.0 R 3.0) modules
•
4-slot chassis with universal AC input, and automatic
voltage/frequency ranging
•
DC power input (PXI-1031DC only)
•
On/Off (Standby) power switch on the front panel for easy access
•
AUTO/HIGH temperature-controlled fan speed based on air-intake
temperature to minimize audible noise
•
(Optional) Carrying handle for portability
•
Rack mountable
