Extend the rack slides and insert the chassis with mounted rails into the
slides. Depress the release button on both sides so that you can fully
insert the chassis.

Secure the chassis to the front rack rails with the hardware included in
the handle and flange kit.
Installing the Horizontal Filler Panel
Once the VXI-1501 is mounted in the rack, you may want to install the
1U filler panel above it as shown in Figure 4. This panel allows adequate
air ventilation for the vent holes on top of the chassis, should another piece
of equipment be installed above it.
