Verify that the EVM is the default playback device by opening the sound dialog from the Windows
Control Panel as shown in

6. Check if the sampling rate matches the Windows setting by opening the advanced tab in the properties
menu. The EVM firmware enumerates as a USB-AudioEVM that supports 48 kHz sampling rate by
default. This setting must match the EVM at 2-channel, 16-bit, 48000 Hz (CD Quality).
