END-USER MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS:

5.1  Proper Care

o

The faucet nozzles should be wiped on a daily basis with clean cotton rug or non

abrasive sponge and warm or hot water.

o

The spillage collection tray (drip tray) should be emptied and washed with hot

water on a daily basis.

o

The external stainless steel surface of the cabinet needs to be cleaned and

polished once every month with regular non-abrasive cleaning solution or metal

cleaner.

o

Use metal polish to restore its shiny appearance or to remove any discoloration or

stain on its surface.

o

Use only a soft and all cotton cloth for cleaning and polishing the stainless steel

surface of the unit.

o

Unplug only the electric power connection during maintenance and servicing or in

case of problem or malfunction of the unit.

o

  When the CO

regulator gas quantity gauge needle moves to the Red section of

the gage, it is necessary to replace the canister immediately or have it refilled to

avoid disruption of the sparkling water supply.

o

In order to obtain the maximum efficiency of the refrigeration system, periodically

clean the condenser grill with a soft brush and vacuum cleaner

o

Replace the air filter every 12 months or when there is a noticeable reduction in

cold water production.

o

Check the heat exchange water tub monthly. Add distilled or de-ionized water until

the water level is over the coils. DO NOT fill to the very top of the tub.

5.2     Advice for Proper Use

o

In public bars and restaurants, “Purified Water” must be clearly indicated on the

unit or on the side of it. Signs must be posted on the unit saying: “Potable, purified

water” and the purified water must be served in appropriate bottles with correct

labels and specifications

o

Purified water should be listed as such in the price list and on receipts and invoices

so that it is not confused with regular water.

o

When not using the machine for a long period of time, it should be properly stored

away to avoid bacterial contamination.

o

On a daily basis, always run at least three liters of water prior to consumption.

o

Never add brine water to the water chiller bucket

.

o

  Do not expose the CO

2

tank to the sun, any sources of heat, or to temperatures

below 32° F (0°C).

o

  Always Keep the CO

2

tank in a vertical position and secure it with a small chain or

strap

o

For correct carbonated water, make sure that the CO

2

 tank pressure, indicated by

the regulator pressure-gauge, is compressed between 60 and 65 psi.

o

Use only CO

2

(UN1013) super dry for carbonating drinking water.
