6.4 Connection to the Water Line
WARNING: DO NOT USE WITH WATER THAT IS NOT MICROBIOLOGICALLY
SAFE OR OF AN UNKNOWN QUALITY WITHOUT ADEQUATE DISINFECTION
BEFORE OR AFTER THE UNIT.

Connect a ball valve/regulator assembly (included) to the main water supply. A
ball valve/ regulator assembly are included in the installation kit.

Connect the water regulator to the filtration box using the tube provided. Hand-
tighten the fitting that attaches the tube to the regulator.
o
Insert the other end of the tube assembly into the “inlet” quick connect fitting on
the left side of the filtration box.
ATTENTION: IT IS IMPORTANT TO MAKE PROPER CONNECTION TO THE
QUICK CONNECT FITTINGS TO AVOID LEAKS. SEE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW

Place the Filtration set in the desired location no more than 4 feet from the
water supply and 6 feet from the unit.
CAUTION: DO NOT PLACE UNDUE STRESS OR SIDE LOAD ON IN/OUT
FITTINGS OF THE REGULATOR AND FILTRATION BOX.
Secure the filter set to the wall or other structure using the proper fasteners. Mounting holes
are located on the back of the filtration box (behind the filter sumps).
